1mm sounds about right if thats what you are measuring from the
'dead spot' The 2.2mm total thrust makes sense as on the 1.6TD it is
(according to my measurements) a 2.3mm piston stroke. With cam cover
off can you crank over with a spanner/wrench (ignition on) and with
#1 injector end of fuel line nut totally undone.?
Look for the pulse of fuel to coincide with #1's lobes pointed up.
This kills a lot of birds with one stone so to speak...
No fear of 3000psi with line raised slightly just a pulsed dribble!
