[Vwdiesel] Dash lights

I've found  that poor contacts on the bulbs can cause them
to go out. try fiddling with them whilst powered up and try
not to knock  them  {or even breathe heavily in
practice}when putting panel back in. Dimmer switch is easily
taken out and disassembled. could be contact wear there too
if played with a lot. This is also a common problem with the
fuel gauge sender....
