  Hmmm, Only electrical problem I've had with the Rabbit is occasionally, 
after sitting a long time, the blinkers don't want to blink. Takes a few 
times of exercising to get them going regularly.  Otherwise it rates right 
up there with my Mustang and Porsche for electrical trouble free-ness.  :-)
  Only problems with the Jetta and 5K has mostly been tail light connections. 

Someone's bright idea of galvanized steel connectors seems somehow 
comittee inspired.
