I learned from a friend, that he knew of someone whom removed the metal
cross work and used the rear seat from a golf 85-92 as a fold down. with a 
little
patience one could find matching fabric. from our talk here i would add the 
bolt in cross bracing while driving.
Mine, is a 91 jetta, if i forgot to list that.
