Shame on you Mike Shepherd ------- I have seen Petters and Listers   by the hundreds.

NEVER seen one that was taken apart ? ----they are THAT reliable.  ----not the complete
truth  --I did see one guy who was playing with one little Lister.

The Lister I got --HR-2 ------sure starts easy ----and idle ?  ---shit it sounds like about
60 RPM  ? ------------   On a Lister --can you use starting fluid ?   go ahead douse the
thing ---NO problemo -----BUT NEVER NEVER use it on a Rabbit.----call the tow truck.
All rules has exemptions  ----the SENIOR  guys here ----can use it ----BUT the RULE is for beginners.

The Lister is built like a Brick Shithaus  -----Head-bolts breaking ?   Head-gasket blowing ?
NEVER have I heard of it. -----Cummins diesels in Chrysler Trucks are top of the line
in this Town. ---BUT even they have problems --like head-bolts popping.----etc.

SO ?     what is the problem ?  ----HP  output per Lb. -----a car engine has to be light ---and VW found the magic numbers.

But it requires some serious MANAGEMENT.  ----- you lack of knowledge will COST you read my lips.

So read a lot in the Archives here ---and you will save a lot of money
like me. ---------------  I stumbled in here ---by some strange ---stroke of LUCK ?.

Saved me a bundle ----and I do mean a BUNDLE.   -----Hope for you that you are as lucky.

For your Daughters and Sons ?  ---IMHO ---nothing beats The VW Rabbit (Golf) 
and the HONDA Civic. ----------   all around dollar for dollar per mile year..

Diesels in the World ?. -----  I will gladly explain how B and W  got to make the
Worlds biggest Diesels.    ---Yeah   WAIN was UK a lele. and Burmeister was a kraut come Dane.

Funny thing about Diesel fuel ---I have been using Columbia diesel for a while (Shell)
and the Cetane number seems to be high. ----skinny shit just the same.Use lots of lube
for your pumps. (you Van Isle guys ).
