[Vwdiesel] Speedo numbers

  I remember that most are a certain number.  Since Roger says it's 1575, 
I'll buy that.  :-)  I remember seeing one one way and two others the other 
way (higher and lower).  Not sure anymore which way was what.  I was 
lucky enough to have a fellow list member have one the right amount 
different for my Quattro.  It was way off and tranny end gears wouldn't 
fix it.  Chevy has a pretty wide assortment of tranny drive and the speedo 
driven gears.  Got to dink with those on my 6.2 van.  Just in time for a 
friend to blow up the engine too.  :-(
  I believe the cut on transverse engine'd gears is different from the 
longitudnal transmissions but I'm not 100% sure.
