  ALL Rabbit/Jetta diesels use a group 41 battery.  There are others that 
can fit but a group 41, 42 and 49 cover a good share of the vw/audi line.  
I believe they use group 41 up through A2 bodies as well.  Group 41 is 
gas only, group 49 is Audi 5K.
