  Even less impressed now eh?  ;-)
  Either ate a glow plug, broke a ring or blew the head gasket.  Check the 
plugs, look for pressure in the reservoir.  If it passes those the probably 
a ring.  Rods can stretch at high rpm so might even have the wrong head 
gasket now!  ;-)  Does he NOW believe you that overfilling it is a bad 
idea?
