Thank you  Justin for starting this thread ---   it may come to be in the future.

I learned a lot about 1940  ---- public transportation in Denmark that early ?    

Like to add that it was NOT simply a matter of WOOD GAS  ---there were many
types of Generators   Charcoal ,  Calcium Carbide and water and many more.

The Acetylene one sure worked good. -------Right here in BC we used natural gas
in diesels for  quite a while.  For pollution reasons (I think) -- not lack of oil.

Remember we have some  PROPANE   members here ----with a lot of know
how.

IMHO    Propane is still too expensive -----to use as a substitute.

PS :     For those of you who saw the burned out streetcars in AARHUS ?

that was done by collaborater swines and scumbags "Shallburg Corps"  to retaliate
for us  Insurgents   ----blowing up German   industry and transportatation in Denmark.

WE prevailed.   ------kept on trucking on Gas Generators.  Hard not to be a bit smug
