I have a 3rd party adapter(OBDTool). It came with the shareware version
of VAGCom. If I remember correctly, You can look at fault codes(don't
remember if it allowed resetting them) and look at timing. But that was
all. No adaptation.
I was impressed enough to register it (and unlock it!) I've updated each
sub-release as they came out and even moved it to a new laptop. Linda at
Ross-Tech is a pure joy to work with.
