Mike in lobster land ---- cost of paint ? and I mean GOOD paint ?
1. (one )each Lobster ---yes for what I pay for ONE lobster-------a Rabbit can have
a really nice paint job.
This is the voice of experience --- I used gallons and gallons ---yes some of it
on the Rabbit rims. -----I painted a 40 foot highway trailer among other things.
It was sold by Val-Mart as " our best rust paint ". Aluminium I used but they may have
other shades.
Airless Wagner gun worked super. Used many types of guns right down to
an air brush.
Be careful with solvents ----the store told me to use Varsol ----not too good --
so I talked to the maker of the paint ---and they said stronger solvents could be used.
Like toluene ---etc etc.
It was about half the price of paint from SW. I paid 25 a gallon.
If you like Silver ? --there is your answer.
Hagar.
PS : remember the song ---merrily we ROLL along roll along --give James Hansens roller
thing a try on an old fridge. ---------If you want a GOOD airless gun ? get a Krebs made
by the COO - COO clock guys. I got one and it is out of this world. (but expensive).
Hard to beat a roller for cost ? EH ? ---I saw a guy paint a Fleet Canuck with a roller.
That Lobsterfest ad on tv is getting to me ----Red Lobster --is paying for it. I would paint
a Rabbit for a couple of lobsters any day. Note that with an airless gun you need no
thinning.
