[Vwdiesel] Salvage yards or places to get used 1.9 diesel engines

The 1.6 appears to be a good prime mover for a genset. IMO use it direct
drive to an 1800 RPM alternator to get up to 10 kW for long hours use as I
did. I had to replace my baffed 1.6 to a good 1.5 NA diesel and can only
make 9 kW max but that is enough for my needs. If you want much more power,
direct drive to a 3600 RPM alternator and get up to probably 25 kW from it
for emergency power during outages for you and the neighbors if you like
them.
