[Vwdiesel] German design

All my (4) Rabbits have the exhaust
system with the TWO spring clips.   I would --if I could give the designer of 
that system
a NOBEL prize for design perfection.


  Dad and I would tend to disagree although with the proper tool, they 
really are quite quick to reinstall.  Dunno just how you manage 
without one.  I used to do it that way and that's how I grew to 
detest the design.  I prefer the 6 bolt flange since I figured out 
how to get at the impossible one or two, easily.  Sure, there's 
generally a busted stud or two but a torch and vise-grips...  :-)
  I guess the big reason I like the flange better is it's a better 
flow design as well.  4-2-1 header.  Usually only availavle 
aftermarket and it came from the factory! :-)
