[Vwdiesel] Transporter anti roll bars

Hi all... a small problem with my syncro transporter. Must of hit a bump a
bit too hard and snapped off the end of the short tie bar where it attaches
to the bottom yoke. The anti roll bar seems to be in three parts, the main
bar and two end ties. The ties seem to be attached by a rubber bush that is
pushed over the end of the roll bar. To replace the whole bar looks very
expensive and scrap parts are impossible to find locally.

How long would you drive for with only one side attached...?  (slowly and
sensibly of course...)

And I presume I can change the bush and bar without any weird tools from
VW....

Thoughts please...
