Canola is way cheaper than diesel in bulk
and an excellent fuel to use in an SVO conversion
my 93 Eurovan diesel has never smelled better than when burning pure 
canola
I belive you can get Canola for $0.90/gal bought in bulk (I have been 
told this but haven't verified or found a source)(yet)
diesel is up around $2.50/gal
and there you have it
