[Vwdiesel] Genset RPM and Diesels

The LISTER I got  here will NEVER blow up ---NO matter how big a TURT.  (LOL).

I have stated my point of   -- VIEW ---on Gensets many times  ---and Welders are a Genset. .

BUT there was one thing I NEVER cosidered till  Val Cristian   brought up the VARIABLE drive
systems.     ------- a perfect solution when using  VW Diesels.  -----I never mentioned it
because of the cost.  -----BUT they can still be found in scrapyards.         I tried to phone
the guy who gave me mine  ----but he was away in Calgary  ----otherwise I would have given you
a    name of Manufacture.  ------ Two sets of cones    and a belt looking like a Tank Track  -----
NO flexing side to side.
Adjusting  was by a leadscrew   ---handle like a Lathe  type.

For a DIY    welder I use    a 400 Amp Westinghouse Aircraft surplus  generator     On the
ass of Annabelle. ----works like a charm from day one.  ---Despite the "EXPERT" saying that
my Bicycle chain  over drive would not work.  ----BUT then again he was not a Racer like
Armstrong and Hagar.  ----We know how strong those Roller Chains are.

In James Hansen land the sweetest   Welder is an APU  ---"Lawrance"  ----surplus  Airforce.
Yes I have one here and what a JEWEL   ----has to be seen to be believed..  It came with
a 250 Amp   28 Volt generator.  DC.  -----to say it the way it is I know Westinghouse   and
GE   ---but who the hell was Heintz    ?   ---man they made some good stuff..
In the latest round of shitty propaganda some Ruskie wants to please the Bush gang and he
published a slanderous out of context ,of what the German Fuehrer said about American
technology.  ------pure shit. ---The Germans and Hitler   admired a lot of American know how
and got license to copy a lot. -----In my mind the Hallicrafter Reciever with 24 ?  Tubes ,Valves or
Roeren if you like. ----------The Germans copied --and then they IMPROVED   the stuff.

Why did the Ruskies have the BEST Tanks in the world in 1939 ? ----outfittet with the worlds
best Diesel ?  After trying to find out where the hell they got the designs from  , for many
years.   I finally got to see a picture of the DIESEL.  ---WOW -----looks like a "VEE" 12.

500 to 600 HP. ------Reliable easy to fix   and IT started at Stalingrad in winter when the
Tigers did NOT. ---------???????????    wierd.
