[Vwdiesel] Alternative diesel

If possible to overcome the difficulties involved with sugar as fuel 
(caramelizing) then it would seem to do far better than alcohol as far as BTU's from 
initial grains.  There is a significant reduction of energy when sugar is 
turned into alcohol.  That energy is what those wonderful little yeasties live off 
of.  
In my line of work (hardwood floors), I end up with litterally bags and bags 
of sawdust/sanding dust.  How can I run that through my diesel?
I was thinking of making a furnace to run off wood dust, or using a pasta 
maker to turn the dust into pellets for a pellet stove.  Any other suggested 
uses?  I won't be getting any hampsters, and don't spill enough oil on the 
driveway to use up the dust.
