How can you develop a phobia over a length of cloth, a coil
spring and a ratchet with a sloppy weight?

Because many if not most of the newer seat belts have an
explosive
charge in them to tighten up the belt in an accident! Kinda
like saying
there's no concerns pulling the steering wheel center pad
off of a newer
car. Should be safely doable but do exercise caution, no
static, any
wires disconnected, etc. Same cautions as when changing out
an air
bag.

So Shalyn wasn't joking!
I thought my MK2 Passat (Quantum) as one of the last off
the production line was new.... In fact it's the newest car
I've ever had (Excluding Co cars).
Where's the need for explosives in the seat belt? So if you
buy a new camper it may have emergency explosives to shut
the toilet seat if you're crapping on the move and need to
stop quick eh???

Be explosive free
Buy a Quantum see?
