[Vwdiesel] It's running

Congrats! Where are you at? I probably have a spare cable you can have 
from my old '85, although I don't think they are that much new. The oil 
pressure problem is an odd one, you've done int shaft bearings, right? 
What kind of gauge? What is the cold oil pressure at the head? My 1.6 
mechanical head gives 80psi or so cold at idle with 15w40 on a 10C 
morning. The lowest hot idle reading I've seen so far is 27psi, usually 
around 30psi.
