I haven't had a problem either with my car.
 
The worst water in fuel blackout I experienced was from a load we took on in a place called Plymouth, England.  At least tea leaves did not clog our sprayers.  The water did not come from a by-product of drinking Dorset scrumpie.  We could have burnt that.
