  Honestly I've never had more than a drop or two.  Never bother to drain 
and don't even change the filters much but 90% of my fuel comes from a 
the same, surprisingly clean tank.  My Jetta had aquart or so of water in 
the seperator when I got it.  
  I was told that in TX you can expect some regularly due to the high 
humidity.  Algae clogging up a tank and pump on diesels that have sat 
for close to a year is "normal."   So I was told by a pump rebuilder there.
