Hmm. Too late.
It is isolated from the system, no stock hoses will be used/effected.
Because he owns one.
Waaaaaahaaaaahaaaa!
good one.
:-)
I'll go have a looksee if the outside of the heater hose I used smells like
oranges or gummy bears yet.
He's afraid of eating the hoses up? So that's where they get gummy bears
from...
The Benzoids use the stuff all the time, they just buy expensive citric acid
gatorade from the dealer and dump it in, drive about until it quits, then
dump the coolant, rebuild the engine pump and injectors, after which it
willl overheat less. I'm just trying get some more cabin heat for my girls.
I suspect a can of sealie pop went in sometime before I owned the car which
effectively sealed the heater core. Thsi one has always been poor in winter
for heat. All the others can roast weiners on the dash, this one keeps the
salad fresh.

A chemist / Volvo repair person (because he owns one...ha ha) says
use 1 oz of simple green, then triple flush. Then muratic acid, 3 oz
for a 10qt system. Heat up to temp for 20 minutes, and triple flush.
He's apparently concerned about citric acid and rubber hoses.
