[Vwdiesel] Front end bearing noise (again)

I was just looking at an Audi 4000 'Haynes' and this particular book gives
a better view of the diff. It also shows left and right tapered roller
bearing sets which are shimmed... Now if the transverse set-up is the same
or similar then my hunch of the noise coming from this region may be
bearing fruit...
