I am personally sorry to see Loren go, he has been a big help to me
in the past with various diesel problems and seemed to be a really
nice guy when I got to meet him. It is unfortunate that we here in
the US have become very thin skinned and unable to accept criticism
from anyone, even if it is for our own good. The Iraq invasion was
wrong and the majority of Americans now see it that way.
Unfortunately, we are now stuck and will likely be so for years.
The instability in the Middle East that the war has caused will
continue to keep oil prices high and will simply encourage more
people to seek out diesel cars and trucks. Hopefully, a byproduct
will the the availability of diesel engines in a wider variety of
cars. I would love to have a Dodge Dakota pickup with the CRD engine
currently available in the Jeep Liberty. Or how about a Chevy
Colorado with a small 4 cylinder Isuzu Diesel engine? To bad this
may come at the price of thousands of US lives. Oh well, this old
style, not neocon, Republican will now go into the garage and put the
heat exhanger and the AC condenser unit back into its big, black
plastic box so that I can hopefully install it into my Caddy
tomorrow. Hayden
