[Vwdiesel] Looking to purchase new tires (seek sizing experience) and a set of basketweave

It's getting important that i upgrade the rubber on my rims and was 
wondering
if others here had tried a taller tire. I have a 91 jetta which calls for a 
185/75, being mileage
concerned as we tend to be here, i began looking at the next few sizes up. I 
know
we've discussed this here and i thought i saved the threads though i haven't
found them yet, also, i would llike a second set of basketweave alloys as my 
  better
tires will be used for times when i travel a little bit. much of my driving 
though is in the
city of chicago and on  construction sites so tires for this use can be 
crappy to be
honest. they get pucntured and cut before they wear out. thanks to all and
welcome back, i hope the tech and politcal issues that shook our foundations
are "adjusting" and that the current member void is reconsidered.
