The correct size tire for an A2 car would be 175/70x13, or optional was 
185/60x14.  IEach is around the 910/915 revs/mile range.  If you want mileage, 
you should stay narrow, but going a lot taller will not necessarily help (plus 
you suffer aerodynamic penalty from increased under car airflow).  I have never 
heard of a 185/75 anything tire.

The simplest upgrade (if you are on 13 inch wheels) would be 165-80x13, or on 
14s you could go 175/65x14, and drop into the 890 rev/mile range.  I like to 
stick with very hard inflation  pressures, and low rolling resist tires for a 
mileage car.  Something like the MX4 Energy Michelin.  Don't know if it is 
available in your sizes, though.
