If it's a rear, and it doesn't easy-out easily, save yourself a lot of
hassle and
just replace it. :-) New ones are usually <$10. Quite often less than the
hassle factor of saving a 20 year old wheel cylinder that likely has rust
pits in it from poor previous maintenance.
     Loren

I Hagar say follow Lorens instructions ---I did and he was right --NOW for the front that
is another day.
And by the way new bleeder screws are to be had. After getting EDUCATED by Val
Christian ---I never broke another bleeder. ---AND ? --now I give Loren credit for this
one ---I may be wrong---but in this forum someone said MOVE all bleeders and ferrule nuts
at least ones a year. --I lubricate mine. Rubber grease.--------a BIG gob on bleeder does
wonders in the REAL world --(Salt)--salt talks.

Before Val Christian --I broke a front bleeder ---THAT cost me 70 dollars Kanadian.

After Val Christian ? --no problemos. --never broke a one.

Hagar.

PS : I use Castrol Rubber grease ---part of Girling brake kits for Annabelle. ---I have
this sneaky feeling that tenderflake shortening would do the job---so head for the
fridge..
