[Vwdiesel] $3.45 a gallon, biodiesel, and SVO

The only changes needed to run biodiesel from my understanding is your fuel
lines. If your vehicle is older than 1997 then the fuel lines are
susceptible to the biodiesel. Now if you run B20 it would take a little
longer to eat the hoses but B100 would work on them faster. Also might want
to carry a few extra fuel filters or put a good inline one just before you
vw fuel filter. The bio is a great cleaner and will clean all the years of
gunk out of your tank. Other than that I have read nothing but greatness
from running biodiesel, it lubricates the pump really well, same
performance/economy and fewer emissions. One down point might be that it
jells at a higher temperature than regular diesel. Did I cover it all?
Anyone else have any experiences?
Nick

I tried to get some for our hospital generator and the refinery in
Tuscaloosa was out. A local biodiesel plant is about to open and just in
time. How much is new vegetable oil? What changes do I need to do to use
Biodiesel?
