Also make sure you are pulling on the correct paddle! IIRC
I just glanced at the child lock on my 'Q'.. It looks like it could be
moved with a small screwdriver levered down between the door and the door
seal. levering the screwdriver handle towards the front of the car opens
it. Note if child lock is 'on' then there is little movement of the inside
door opener.... Pull that paddle...
