[Vwdiesel] Borrowing Tools for Head Gasket Repair

If you can't find the tools, and are willing to assume
that the timing is okay, you don't really need them to
do the change.

Simply use fingernail polish or equilivant to mark the
timing belt's position on each of the gears (mark the
belt and teeth on each pulley).

Then, carefully count the notches on the old belt
between the marks and transfer the marks to the new
belt.  

Finally, match up all the marks with the new belt and
the pulleys and tighten the tensioner.

I've done this more than once with great success.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have the engine at #1
TDC just in case things go awry, but I don't always
worry about that.
