  Sounds like you already did it.  If the slave cylinder is wet then it is 
bad 
even IF it's not causing the problem so do it first.  In the process you may 
end up adjusting the pushord (if there's an adjustment there) so if it's not 
the cylinder but the adjustment, then you still end up fixing it and avoiding 

a failure down the road.
