  Ummm, make that 52 hp.  Only low 60's on the TD, 48hp on the 1.5

  They usually throw a rod or develop a good knock.  I've only seen one but 
does seem it was #3.  Still intact, just a bad rod journal.  I would normally 

attribute it to an oiling problem.  Couple that with the one, full groove 
main 
on #4 main, (as an "improvement" on the bearings) and it looks even more 
like an oiling issue.
