The following is an extract from a book called High Speed Oil Engines by
Chapman 1951Ed. It's an analysis of vibration damping techniques as applied
to crank vibrations. My interest is in the simple extrapolation that can be
made to the 'car body damping' that was used in the A2 briefly (behind the
front bumper); but could be applied to any car....
