Well Shawn Wright --- to Hagar it sounds like you are a winner.   I know the Malahat  and
IMHO  it is the worlds best test range for WV Diesels. --Usually in BC grades are max 6
% ---ideal for testing.--and I mean up or down.--- .
Question : is that the engine a lot of us followed you HONING and what not ?  -----word of
caution ---it sounds like you are doing Hillbilly Tuning already ----so make sure you do
not advance pump too far.
 A full turn on fueling screw would not be of concern---Pump too advanced with
Overboosting and Overfueling ---could ruin your day.  ---keep a sharp eye on Coolant temp
and smoke from tailpipe.

And do Blotter testing  ---if you overfuel it will show.

5psi boost, and 850F EGT. Another 1/8 turn, and I'm now able to do 85km/h 6psi and
900F EGT. I am also able to see brief peaks of 8.5psi boost during WOT in 3rd gear,
and still NO smoke. This was near dark, so any hint of smoke would have shown in
headlights, and there was none.

In Hagars  ( IMHO)    those are good numbers. (NO great numbers)

85 Km/h in BC ?  --not bad at all.  --------No smoke ? and No overheating ? --no problems.
let us know your oil pressure.---a oil temp gauge would be handy ? -Ja ?.
