[Vwdiesel] Basic questions from diesel owner wannabe

In Ontario, even a new car drops off the 'smog check radar' if it gets an
engine transplanted into it that did not come as an available option from
the factory.  It has to be registered under the "hot rod" category, whatever
that means.  That probably won't help one putting a VW diesel engine into a
gasser VW since the diesel is a factory option in these VW's most of the
time I'd think, but there are places where could help.
