  It's either going to go past the rings or excess blowby/oil vapor-droplets 
going out the breather at too high of velocity.  The blowby option can be 
from excess blowby or restricted breathing.  The rings could be broken, 
stuck or worn/non seated, etc oil control ring/s.  Too much oil and high 
rpm can contribute to the rings.  
  I suppose a rpm solenoid operated oil pan dum would keep it to a 
minimum.  ;-)
