We can see finally, nearly everyone on this list was way ahead of his time.
Why is it we could see through the hype, while so many bought it hook, line and sinker? 
Maybe a quality-quantity choice made unconsciously years ago. 
Is having a lot of mediocrity better than having a small amount of perfection?
If a little is good, a lot is better; this what we are being sold every day on TV, in magazines, advertising, movies. GET MORE. I bought it, too, having grown up American  -  until I bought a rat '62 Beetle as a second car. A month later I sold my first car - American V8, and never looked back. 
How come some of us choose quality over quantity? It's a mystery of the sea.
All the gluttons of the world can celebrate: dog shit is free, they can get lots of it.

Are Texans today --fleeing Rita  on I- 45 happy as pigs in shit ?  --ask them.

production?
