[Vwdiesel] 1st oil change after rebuild?

After a rebuild I've always dumped it within the first 50 miles.  Has always 
been nice and sparkly with very small bits of metal.  I wouldn't put it back 
in any engine.  Dino oil is cheap.  Filters are fairly cheap too.  I usually 
get them for less than $4 when I need to top off a parts order for free 
shipping.
