Thanks Andrew, that's good to know.
Now to shake the trees and see if a 3cylinder complete with wiring 
harness and ecu falls out.

I have a couple nice bugs in the fleet that would do with a swap like 
this, and as was mentioned, a hardtop post 67 Ghia would do very nicely.
I bet the deck lid would close on a beetle with a Lupo motor in it.

The caddy I planted the 1.9td into would be a great candidate, except 
for the seating, or lack of it.

I still haven't gotten over the wood for a Loremo. THAT would serve me 
well. Haven't heard back from the company about availability on this 
side of the pond however.
