I can confirm that it DOES NOT. The 924 power train is all Audi. The first engine and trans were modified Audi 100LS stuff, and they kept the bolt pattern ever since. If you want a bolt-in engine, you need to use the 5 cyl or V6 diesels, which all use the Audi bolt pattern (I believe that includes the 2.4 and 2.5 used in VW Eurovans).
