[Vwdiesel] '84 Quantum wiper linkage

  Should be just under the plastic cowl cover under the hood.  Odds 
are the nut came off.  Just a gear reduction that fastens to a short 
"keyed" bar (couple cm long) that connects to the linkage that connects 
to the pivots then the arms.  :-)
