[Vwdiesel] help 1.9 td

  Don't have a diagram for that late of car that never made it to the states
but odds are it's a red wire with a black stripe, about 10 or 12 gauge.  In 
the older cars the wire comes out of the harness, goes through the fuse 
block unfused, to the relay then to the large fuse then to the glow plugs.  
  GP relay is the one with the two BIG terminals in a "T" configuration, 
with a couple other pins as well, 5 or 6 total I  think.  That new and it 
could be under the hood or above your feet.  Grab a test light and start 
chasing it back.  You'll find a problem somewhere!  GP relay is a good 
place to check for power TO first.
