[Vwdiesel] Audi 5-cyl differences?

I have an '86.5 Quantum Syncro that I'm looking to put an Audi
five-cylinder diesel into over the summer. I have one of the naturally
aspirated ones, it came with the car when I bought it, but I was
wondering where the differences lie between the naturally aspirated and
turbo models.

I know that some/most factory turbocharged engines have bottom end
differences, usually stronger and with added oil cooling jets for the
pistons, but then again some don't. Is there a difference between the NA
and turbo Audi 5s?

Either way, a turbodiesel is going under the hood; if there is a
difference, I'll get a turbocharged version. If there isn't a
difference, I'll just add turbo manifolds and a turbo to what I've got
and tweak from there.

Thanks in advance!

-Kurt
