I don't know if you are aware of this link but my guess if anyone would know where to source a diesel part, Jack would know & may have the part. I don't know Jack's last name but he operates a business called VW Diesel Parts & Free Tech Help, 357 Conn Road, West Union, Ohio45693 ((937)544-2444 www.jack at vwparts.com or vwdiesel at bright.net . He also hosts a forum similar to this one & I seem to recognize some of the same contributors that are contributing to this forum including Hager. Most anything goes at that forum (correct me if I am wrong) EXCEPT, DON'T post any links to business that might compete with Jack since he pays to host that site, which I think is only fair. I found out the hard way when I referred some people to www.autopartsworld.com for being able to buy at very reasonable cost, Dasher parts I couldn't buy from my local parts source or from a VW Dealer because they were obsolete. Very prompt service & shipping too. I have not done business with Jack yet but likely will as he has a kit including assorted washers for adjusting VW diesel valves including the adjustment tool for around $150 as I recall, that I have not seen elsewhere. It appears to me that Jack is one of those people out there who is preforming fair, competitant, reasonable service that helps keep our VW diesels on the road.
