[Vwdiesel] Grenaded turbo follow up

Looking at those pics it seemsthat the rotor has touched the housing. Look 
from 11am to 1pm...
Has excessive end float allowed this? What about a close up of the strategic 
area? Also the rest of the housing not shown does it have digs from shrapnel 
or a rotary scrape?
