[Vwdiesel] Amazing new nozzles!

Tonight I installed new nozzles in the '82, and was amazed at the difference
they made. The previous nozzles I had tested before the last trip, and found
the break pressures were dead on, but the spray pattern was awful even
after cleaning. This resulted in smoky starts for a minute or two when cold.

So with a set of $8 nozzles from autohausaz.com tested and installed, I
cranked it for about 10 seconds to get the air out, and it fired, roughly at first,
then settled to a smooth, absolutely smoke-free idle. Even the first few
sputters didn't emit any smoke (it was in the garage, so I'd have seen it).
The only smoke I saw was some black stuff when punching the throttle, and
this was when it only running a minute, so still cold. I suspect I may be able
to turn the fuelling down a bit now, as the idle seems higher than before.
Certainly $32 well spent... if you haven't done injectors recently, I highly
recommend it.
