Try Auto Parts World, phone 1(866)270-7730. They had a new heater-A/C switch for my 1981 Dasher diesel for under $7 as I recall, that my local foreign autoparts store couldn't get nor could our local VW dealer. I also contacted Sacramento area VW junk yards. They didn't have any but said they would cost $40 if they did. I can't guarantee they have the part you want but try their website, www.autopartsworld.com to see if they have the parts you want & also compare their prices for what you can get elsewhere. If any of you know better or other hard to get parts sources, please post.
