  Not Positive but I don't think so.  Never had to look!  :-)

  Just the fuel filter with the drain in the bottom.

  First thing is to just put in the correct shim and get your clearance 
right, 
then check it after a few K and see if it held or not.  Could be one that 
just 
changed a lot over time (and none were really maintained) or it could be a 
sinking seat or such.  Haven't seen that as a problem on the diesels or 
really on the watercooled so much as the air cooleds.
  I had one that would always be off a bunch compared to the others but 
never got bad, never failed and no signs of any problems whenever I had 
the head off either.
