I heard somewhere that it's risky to spray a warm diesel due to the possibility of causing warpage to the IP - do you let the vehicle sit until it's cooled off a certain amount, or just avoid hitting the IP with the water stream? Any other precautions such as apply to gassers? Needless to say, my diesel engines have always ended up looking fairly dirty.
