[Vwdiesel] How to remove Needle bearing in end of crankshaft

fill the hole with grease.
drive in a close fitting shaft, the grease pushes out the needle bearing.
If it's all bent up, you're kind of screwed now, keep prying away at it
until it comes out.
can you thread a bolt the right size into it to catch and pull on?
